Information about how to enable voice in & out for the website chat widget.
What is Chat Widget Voice / Audio?
There is now the ability to have voice / audio functionality within your website chat widget.
This means that, when enabled there will be the option to click a voice icon and speak into the bot, as well as be able to hear the AI's response verbally.
Voice In = Voice to Text
Voice Out = Text to Voice
How to Enable Voice / Audio.
Navigate to the update tab for any AI agent
Click into the advanced settings
Enable/ Disable this feature based on what you want the user to be able to do
The Future of Voice / Audio
We will be implementing other native integrations that will allow for connections to OpenAI's Whisper and ElevenLabs. This will bring customized voices along with hundreds of higher quality options.
